Bhawal is where Dhaka families come to picnic, and on winter weekends the main picnic spots can be busy. Walk ten minutes down any of the side trails and it quickly goes quiet.

Bring your own food and water, and leave by late afternoon to beat the return traffic on the Dhaka–Mymensingh highway.
